Grey’s Anatomy star Richard Flood has teased the future of Cormac Hayes, Meredith Grey and Andrew DeLuca’s love triangle.

The actor plays Cormac Hayes on the US medical drama and speaking recently, revealed his “connection with Meredith” will lead to an interesting dynamic between the characters in season 17.

“There’s definitely a bit of a love triangle there between Cormac, Meredith and Andrew DeLuca so it will be interesting to see how that develops,” he told Metro.co.uk.

“That’s all I can say.”

He added: “I’ve spoken to the writers about this season and where they are thinking of taking certain stories. As always, they have some really great ideas.

“I just want the character to grow and to be able to get to know even more about him. I’m ready for everything they throw at me… I mean, they’ve already thrown a lot at Cormac.

“He has a very big backstory with a lot of depth.

“So it’s just going to keep growing as we explore more of that and this connection with Meredith.”

Grey’s Anatomy season 17 will tackle the coronavirus pandemic with a time-jump necessary for filming.

Ahead of filming, the show is considering how it will adapt its sex scenes for coronavirus times.
