Kristin Cavallari reunites with Stephen Colletti after Jay Cutler divorce – Page Six

August 4, 2020 | 3:37pm

Let’s go back, back to the beginning.

On Tuesday, Kristin Cavallari gave Instagram a dreamy throwback, posting a photo of herself hanging out with ex and former “Laguna Beach” co-star, Stephen Colletti.

“2004 or 2020?!” the Uncommon James founder, 33, captioned the cozy snapshot, geotagging Laguna Beach, Calif., as the location.

Cavallari — who announced her divorce from husband Jay Cutler in April — first graced television screens in 2004 on the MTV reality series. A main cast member on the first two seasons of “Laguna Beach,” Cavallari was entangled in a love triangle with Colletti and co-star Lauren Conrad.

In 2009, Cavallari joined the cast of “The Hills,” before landing her titular reality show “Very Cavallari” in 2018. Amid her split from Cutler, 37, Cavallari announced in May that the E! series would not return for a fourth season.

She and Cutler, a former NFL quarterback, share three children: sons Camden, 7, and Jaxon, 6, and 4-year-old daughter Saylor.

Following “Laguna Beach,” Colletti, 34, starred in “One Tree Hill” as Chase Adams. He has been linked to Hayden Panettiere and actress Chelsea Kane.

Fellow MTV alum Conrad, 34, has been married to William Tell since 2014.

Fox News’ Kristin Fisher opens up about her childhood as an ‘astro-tot’ – New York Post

May 23, 2020 | 9:26am

When Fox News’ Washington D.C.-based correspondent Kristin Fisher covers NASA’s launch of two astronauts to the International Space Station on Elon Musk’s SpaceX Crew Dragon Wednesday, she’ll be one up on her rivals at other networks. Fisher, 36, is the daughter of two astronauts. Her mom, Dr. Anna Fisher, now 70, was the first “mom in space” when she climbed aboard the Discovery in November 1984; Kristin was 14 months old. Her dad Dr. Bill Fisher, 74, now an emergency room physician in Houston, followed his wife into space in 1985. He conducted two space walks on his flight, one of which was the longest of its kind at the time. Both astronauts flew into space once on one-week missions. Anna continued working for NASA until her retirement in 2017. Bill left NASA in 1992 and returned to emergency medicine, which he still practices today. Here Kristin Fisher recalls what it was like growing up an “astro-tot” to The Post’s Dana Kennedy.

I took my childhood a little bit for granted. I grew up in a neighborhood five miles from NASA’s Johnson Space Center. Our friends were other astronaut families. It was exciting — but for me it was normal.

My mom would wake me up for every space launch. She did a countdown and cheer for every blastoff — and my sister and I would roll our eyes.

Now I do the countdowns for my 2-and-a-half-year-old daughter Clara during the unmanned space launches like the SpaceX mission which was a precursor to this launch.

My parents met when they were med students at UCLA in the mid-1970s. My dad saw something in the paper about astronaut openings and he brought it over to my mother and said, ‘We should apply.’ (My dad has already applied once — as a 12-year-old!)

Neither had a military background. My mother was accepted first. My dad was turned down twice by NASA before he was finally accepted. He took one of the rejection letters into space with him in 1985 when he flew aboard the Discovery space shuttle STS-51-I as mission specialist.

It’s one of the great regrets of my life that I was too little to remember when my mom flew or two years later when my dad flew. I’ve seen so many pictures and there’s a little memory here and there but that’s it.

One thing I do remember is the Challenger accident in 1986. My mom came to school to pick me up. I was 4 years old and I remember her explaining it to me. My parents had been friends with the victims. My mom was in the first class of women astronauts with Judy Resnik, the second woman in space who was on the Challenger mission.

My mom was supposed to be on the flight after Challenger. It was devastating. It made the risk real.

Everyone’s asked me my whole life if I wanted to be an astronaut. I was fascinated by it but I also wanted to carve my own path separate from my parents. I was very intrigued by television. Blending public performance and doing service appealed to me. At one point in fourth grade, my teacher turned our classroom into a newsroom and I was hooked.

Also, my parents and my younger sister are sort of on the genius scale. I’m smart but not on their level of math and science. My strength was always in writing and English.

I loved accompanying the president as a reporter on his secret trip to Afghanistan last year. I got the call right before Thanksgiving and I couldn’t really tell anyone what it was. My mom had come in for the holiday but she didn’t bat an eye when I told her I had to leave. It was the coolest assignment of my career. My dad said, “That might have been your space walk.”

One of the reasons given for humanity’s push into outer space is because of a concern about what would happen to the human species if something terrible happened on Planet Earth. So the fact that this launch is happening during a pandemic is, I think, very fitting.

Kristin Cavallari & Jay Cutler Reach Temporary Child Custody Agreement – E! NEWS

EXCLUSIVE!

Kristin Cavallari and Jay Cutler are putting their differences aside for the sake of their children.

For the past week, Kristin and Jay have been butting heads over their current living arrangement, but now a source exclusively tells E! News they’ve finally come to an agreement, albeit temporarily. “Kristin and Jay have made some progress in moving forward with the divorce,” the insider shares. “They are now agreeing that Jay will allow Kristin to purchase the home she has been looking at since November of last year when they started having serious issues, which prompted her to start looking in the first place.”

The source adds, “In exchange for that, they are agreeing to split the time with their children, one week on and one week off. They are having the kids stay in the home and Kristin will stay a week, then Jay will stay a week.”

This will change once Kristin moves into her new residence, as the kids will have to move from her home to his every other week, the source explains.

As for when her move will take place, the source believes Kristin “should be able to close within a month” on the new residence.

The insider says the hope is that “things between Jay and Kristin will probably get better once she is settled,” as the new living arrangement will help to alleviate any tensions between the now exes “since they aren’t having to deal with each other as much.”

Furthermore, the source reveals, “Jay agreed to not hole up in the house today as well, which allows the splitting of time with the kids in the marital home, instead of contentiously cohabitating.”

As E! News previously reported, relations between the former pro-footballer and the Uncommon James owner quickly soured after he “blindsided” her with his divorce filing. “Things are very tense between Jay and Kristin right now,” the insider previously shared. “They are on opposite sides of the house and only communicate in regards to the children’s needs. They have barely spoken since the Bahamas trip. It’s really a power struggle between the two of them.”

E! News has reached out to both of their reps for comment.

Kristin Cavallari alleges Jay Cutler is blocking her from buying a home – Page Six

April 30, 2020 | 11:40am

Kristin Cavallari is accusing her estranged husband, former NFL quarterback Jay Cutler, of blocking her from purchasing a new home amid their divorce.

The “Very Cavallari” reality star alleged in court documents obtained by E! News, that the former NFL quarterback told her “his attorney was going to tell their business manager to not release the funds,” which she claims was his way of “punishing” her.

On Sunday, the pair announced in a joint statement that they were separating after 10 years of marriage.

Although the couple has just revealed their split, the new documents reveal that Cavallari, 33, first began looking for a new home when their relationship got “so bad” in fall 2019. At the time, Cutler, 37, allegedly “never objected” to a potential move.

However, the couple tried to work on their marriage and the house-buying plans were put on hold.

In March, they “realized the attempt to reconcile was not working and knew a divorce was inevitable.” At that time, Cavallari reportedly decided to begin house hunting and allegedly kept in mind her soon-to-be ex-husband’s “lack of objection in November” when deciding to move forward with those plans.

The court documents show that Cavallari’s attorney alleged that Cutler wanted his wife to agree to a proposed parenting plan that was “unfavorable to her” and “attempted to intimidate” her by blocking the funds to purchase a new home as a means to do so.

“Wife does not believe that it is in the best interest of either party or their minor children to reside in the same household,” the documents state. “Wife fears that if the parties are required to remain in the same residence, it would be an unhealthy environment, causing irreparable harm to their minor children.”

Cavallari has also accused Cutler of making “inappropriate statements to and about Wife and attempts to draw her into an argument in front of their minor children.”

Cavallari has reportedly requested primary physical custody of the couple’s three children — sons Camden, 7, and Jaxon, 5, and 4-year-old daughter Saylor — with Cutler having visitation rights. Cutler is requesting joint custody. She is also seeking child support and wants Cutler to pay for their children’s health insurance.

The Uncommon James founder claimed her ex was “guilty of such inappropriate marital conduct as renders further cohabitation unsafe and improper.”

Cavallari’s rep declined to comment. Cutler’s rep did not immediately return our request for comment.

‘Very Cavallari’: Kristin Cavallari Accuses Jay Cutler of ‘Inappropriate Marital Conduct’ in Divorce Fillings – Showbiz Cheat Sheet

Ever since former The Hills star Kristin Cavallari and Jay Cutler announced that they were splitting, new information has been coming out about what caused the breakup. Their relationship, which fans saw play out on their show, Very Cavallari, had reportedly been coming to an end for a while. Now, court documents have made the reason that Cavallari filed for divorce much more clear.

The breakup

Cavallari announced her breakup on Instagram.

“With great sadness, after 10 years together we have come to a loving conclusion to get a divorce,” she wrote. “We have nothing but love and respect for one another and are deeply grateful for the years shared, memories made, and the children we are so proud of. This is just the situation of two people growing apart. We ask everyone to respect our privacy as we navigate this difficult time within our family.”

According to multiple sources, the breakup had been in the works for a while, even before they spent three weeks in the Bahamas together.

“On their recent trip, they already knew they were splitting up,” a source told People. “The reason they announced it now is because it’s a quiet time for them to work through all of this and try to move forward.”

The sources speaking to the press painted a story of two people simply growing apart.

“Kristin and Jay are a lot different,” the source told the outlet. “She has so much on her plate, with her brands and with the show.”

“Jay is not as interested in all of that. She’s so passionate about her work and they couldn’t relate to each other as much. So it pulled them apart.”

But, their divorce filings tell a different story.

What do the divorce filings say?

Cutler only listed “irreconcilable differences” in his divorce paperwork, according to People.

Cavallari, on the other hand, claimed that her husband was “guilty of such inappropriate marital conduct as renders further cohabitation unsafe and improper.”

She also claimed that “any misconduct alleged or implied against her” in her husband’s filing “was in response to and/or as a result of misconduct on [Cutler’s] behalf.”

Cavallari is also petitioning for primary custody of the couple’s children, Camden, Jaxon, and Saylor Cutler, with her husband getting visitation rights, according to documents obtained by HollywoodLife. In her petition, she “denies that the Husband has always been the available at home parent and primary caretaker of the parties’ minor children. Wife would show that she has been the primary residential parent and she is a fit and proper person to be named Primary Residential Parent.”

She does ask that Cutler be given “reasonable periods of parenting time with said children.”

Kristin and Jay’s relationship

The former couple started dating in 2010 and were married in 2013, but broke up briefly before their wedding because something felt off about the relationship, according to Cavallari.

“At that moment, something wasn’t right,” she said in her 2016 book, Balancing in Heels. “A few things needed to change, and I knew the only way Jay would see how serious I was, was if I ended the relationship.”

Kristin Cavallari and Jay Cutler announce divorce – CBS News

Television personality Kristin Cavallari and former football quarterback Jay Cutler announced Sunday that they are getting a divorce. The pair is splitting after ten years as a couple and nearly seven years of marriage.

“With great sadness, after 10 years together we have come to a loving conclusion to get a divorce,” the pair wrote in identical Instagram captions Sunday afternoon. “We have nothing but love and respect for one another and are deeply grateful for the years shared, memories made, and the children we are so proud of. This is just the situation of two people growing apart.”

The couple also asked the public to respect their privacy as they “navigate this difficult time within our family.” Both Cavallari and Cutler posted photos of themselves, alongside the caption.

The pair began dating in 2010. Cutler first proposed to Cavallari in April of 2011, and got back together after a brief split in July of that year. The “Laguna Beach” alum and former Chicago Bears quarterback were married in the summer of 2013.

The couple share three children together; sons Camden Jack, 7, and Jaxon Wyatt, 5, and daughter Saylor James, 4.

Cavallari spoke to Entertainment Tonight in 2019 about how her and Cutler’s roles in their marriage have changed since he officially retired from the NFL in 2017.

“It’s been interesting. We’ve really completely shifted roles, so it’s just been trying to navigate this new normal,” Cavallari said at the time. “He’s been great. I mean, obviously he’s here with my three kids today and you know, this is not the first thing he wants to be doing so he’s been great and I couldn’t do it without him, truly.”

She also opened up about how they made their relationship work through all of life’s changes. “I think we make each other laugh,” she said. “I think that really can take you pretty far, and obviously trust is huge. We definitely have those two things, so that helps.”
