See the letter Husker parents are sending to Big Ten commissioner Kevin Warren




York High School football coach Glen Snodgrass and his wife crafted a letter to Big Ten Commissioner Kevin Warren on behalf of 81 Nebraska football families.

In short, the parents want answers.

Snodgrass said Sunday he hopes the letter can be hand-delivered early this week. 

It will definitely be mailed, he said.

Glen Snodgrass and his wife, the parents of NU linebacker Garrett Snodgrass, are crafting a letter to the Big Ten on behalf of Husker parents.

The doubts and complications and problems are around every corner. A spring football season is unprecedented. This we know. But is it feasible?

“I don’t think there should be any concerns at all about these athletes going out on a football field and playing a game.”

Kearney Catholic QB Heinrich Haarberg: “They (Husker fans) want to see what it’s all about, and hopefully I can deliver every week.”

Nebraska is on a long arc of trying to assimilate into the Big Ten and its culture. Bear in mind, it’s relatively early in the process. 

Nebraska athletic director Bill Moos said Husker officials held out hope of fielding some sort of fall schedule until Wednesday.

Nebraska coach Scott Frost will address his players Monday on first day of fall semester.
