Some common-sense thinking and writing:

It was not tampering, except as defined by the NBA’s ruling Sunday and probably more than a few perturbed members of the Phoenix Suns front office. But it was not literal, tangible tampering. Not really. Not practically. Not logically.

What Draymond Green said on the TNT studio show Friday night about Devin Booker needing to get away from the Phoenix Suns and onto a better team was not Draymond trying to verbally pave the way for Booker to join the Warriors, though maybe it sounded like that.

OK, maybe it sounded a lot like that, so much that host Ernie Johnson straight up asked Draymond if that’s what he was doing.
